The pattern maker is the professional figure responsible for creating the patterns for any type of women's clothing, based on industrial sizes using size 42 as the base. Unlike a tailor, who makes custom-made garments, the pattern maker transforms the designer's idea and technical sheet into standard measurements for prêt-à-porter (XS, S, M (42), L, XL, etc.).
The annual pattern-making course is designed to train young professionals capable of creating any type of pattern, both for tailoring and industrial production. Through the perfect cutting method Made in Italy, students will learn to adapt patterns even for customized, tailor-made garments. The course will also provide skills in manual size development and CAD software, ensuring proper fit according to the required variations.
The course aims to teach students the entire process of transforming a designer’s idea into mass production for a fashion collection.

At the end of the course, each student will be ready to enter the fashion industry, either in Made in Italy or international companies. Alternatively, they can continue their studies with our Advanced Industrial Pattern-Making Course to further specialize.

Candidates will be selected based on the following criteria: Final Exams The final exam will be conducted in front of a Commission of internal and external faculty members and will include the following evaluation methods: Certification The issued diploma is accredited by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation of Albania. It is recognized in the job market. The dual certificate, issued by MKS after a professional qualification exam taken at the MKS headquarters in Milan, is recognized in the job market and the fashion industry.
