Course Objectives

The Annual Makeup Artist is a 700-hour highly professional course, suitable for those with a strong passion for makeup and who want to make it their profession, distinguishing themselves as a Makeup Artist.

It is a comprehensive training path to work in the fashion world, including backstage at fashion shows, cinema, TV, theater, special effects, bridal makeup, beauty, hairstyling, advertising, and editorials, photoshoots. The course starts from basic skills and ends the year with high-precision and refined work.

The objective of the Annual Makeup Artist course is to train complete professional Makeup Artists capable of working and meeting the demands of high-level backstage environments. At the end of the course, students will have completed work to build their first professional portfolio, essential for showcasing their artistic, stylistic, and creative work, and will have the opportunity to apply for a work experience at Milan Fashion Week thanks to our external collaborations.

Program

The Annual Makeup Artist course is both theoretical and practical, where students will be actively engaged from the very first day at the Academy. This course starts with basic skills and ends the year with work of extreme precision and beauty.

Theoretical Lessons

During the Annual Makeup Artist course, students will participate in theoretical and demonstrative lessons led by instructors. In this part of the course, topics such as Fitting Makeup, products, and skincare will be covered.

Practical Exercises

Practical exercises will follow, where students will be able to create various beauty looks using a classmate as a model, exchanging roles. In this way, they will practice makeup on different skin types and facial features directly in the classroom.

Final Projects

At the end of the course, each Makeup Artist will create different looks for each module as final exams, which will be professionally photographed. This photo book will be essential for building their professional portfolio.Additionally, every year, the Academy organizes a themed final show, involving all students.

The total cost of the Annual Makeup Artist course consists of the following:

• Enrollment Fee: €350
• Tuition Fee: €3,500

Exams & Certification

Exams

The exams will be conducted in different formats, depending on the subjects:

• Practical tests, evaluating basic and creative makeup techniques
• Final Exam, with a live model makeup test at the Academy, as well as for the Milan Fashion Week runway show

The intensive course includes exams at the end of each chapter and a single final exam session.

At the end of the course, students must present a final thesis before a jury of internal and external instructors, both in Tirana and Milan, to obtain the dual diploma.

Certification

The issued diploma is accredited by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation of Albania. It is recognized in the job market. The dual certificate, issued by MKS after a professional qualification exam taken at the MBA headquarters in Milan, is recognized in the job market and the fashion industry.
