FASHION PRODUCT DESIGN
THE TARGETS
The aim of the course is to provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge that allows them to create models, safeguard the fashion idea, ensuring the wearability of the garment and the economic constraints of the company. In particular, this professional figure must, in addition to elaborating the model conceived by the stylist on the basis of current fashion trends, be able to carry out tests for any corrections, supervise the realization of the prototype and guarantee industrial reproducibility.
THE FORM
THE MODELING PROFESSION
The industrial pattern maker interprets and realizes the designer’s ideas, translating them into fashionable garments that form the working basis for an entire season of a garment company. To enhance and execute the model designed by the stylist correctly, the pattern maker must have technical skills, combined with the knowledge of fibers, yarns, traditional and knitted fabrics, colours and accessories. The industrial pattern maker can work in small, medium and large companies of clothing, knitwear, fur, corsetry, for the creation of outfits for men, women, children and babies. The pattern maker can start a business by opening his own atelier and working on direct measurements of the individual customer.

The teaching staff is made up of professionals from the world of fashion and design, who boast professionalism verified and guaranteed by the Academy.
PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
The graduates of Women’s Pattern Maker can find employment in companies in the fashion sector, design studios, fashion ateliers and showrooms, and production companies or carry out the profession of fashion designer independently.

JACKETS
Fantasy and relative sleeve, sack-style without stitching with sleeve with central seam, resting in a classic, man-like key with high shoulders and sleeves adapted to the round. COATS
